Tukiji market has long supported the kitchesns of huge city of Tokyo. You can buy a variety of seafoods including sashimi. Also, there are 2 different types of Japanese sushi restaurants. Restaurants offering fresh seafood dot the market, as well as the Jogai outdoor market.
How to get Tsukiji Markt:
Short walk from Tsukiji Shinjo Subway statation on Oedo line.
Exit A1, and 10 minitues walk.
Or
On Hibiya line, exit 1, 10 mins walk from Higashi Ginza.
Be carefull when you go:
About 2 Wednesdays each month, Sunday, national holidays and New Years are NOT opening.
